Did you know the name ‘Lock Eleven’ comes from the nearby Eleventh Lock on the former Barnsley Canal? The canal was located towards the back of the pub’s garden area.

Lock Eleven is our upstairs dining area in our restaurant and can also serve as a function room for up to 30 guests inside at once. Lock Eleven is available to hire for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or corporate events, you name it!

You and your guests have the choice of dining inside experiencing the cosy surroundings, or outside on the open-air terrace enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

When hiring out the full Lock Eleven area in the daytime, we can provide buffet menus rather than our standard restaurant menu. (Fees do apply for this service).
